Hiring for a International Ocean Freight Manager in the outer boroughs A growing national distribution company is seeking an International Ocean Freight Manager to oversee global import operations, ocean freight strategy, & customs compliance. This is an exciting time to join the team as they continue to grow YoY. No history of lay-offs + strong bonus payout history & long-term incentives. Responsibilities Manage international ocean freight and logistics operations Negotiate rates and service agreements with carriers and freight forwarders Oversee customs compliance, tariffs, duties, and import/export regulations Develop KPIs and improve carrier performance and shipping costs Analyze freight spend, savings opportunities, and operational metrics Support process improvements and long-term supply chain strategy Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 3+ years of international logistics experience Experience with ocean freight, container logistics, and customs compliance Strong analytical and vendor management skills Contact me directly for more information!
