Position Overview Lecturer – Economics Department, Poole College of Management, North Carolina State University. Full‑time, non‑tenure‑track position. Salary range $95,000–$105,000, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Expected start August 16, 2026. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate economics courses, including principles of economics, intermediate macroeconomics, and money and banking. Deliver up to four class sections per semester. Contribute to department and college service activities. Participate in curricular development, assessment, and supervision of student associations. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree, equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in economics or related discipline. Several years of experience teaching undergraduate economics at a research university. Preferred Qualifications Evidence of high‑quality teaching through evaluations, letters of recommendation, or other assessments. Experience with curriculum development, assessment, and student association supervision. Statement of commitment to academic excellence. Master’s degree in economics or related discipline (MBA acceptable). Required Certifications None. Benefits Childcare benefits, wellness and recreation membership, and wellness programs.
