Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) procedures is needed in San Francisco, California. This position involves providing care for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations, including adult interventional procedures, monitoring with pulmonary artery lines (Swan-Ganz), and managing procedural sedation. Candidates are required to bring their California registered nurse license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: San Francisco, California
• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, minimum of 1 year cath lab or interventional radiology experience, 3-5 years combined experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), or Cath Lab, at least 5 years clinic nursing experience, prior travel within 12 months, prior teaching hospital experience preferred
• Additional Information: Must have COVID vaccination and booster, no exceptions. Proof of COVID vaccination and booster must be attached upon submission or confirmed verbally. All RN positions require a BSN.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience Details: Diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization, interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, monitoring procedural sedation
• Travel Experience Required: Yes
• Community Hospital Experience: Not specified
• Module Requirements: 8 hours of modules completed during pre-start and annually; anything over 24 hours is billable
• Float Policy: Resources may be reassigned to different departments within a 75+ mile radius if specifications are satisfied
