PeopleSoft Administrator Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid Up to 50% Telecommuting) Job Type: Long-Term Contract Job Summary STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a PeopleSoft Administrator on behalf of our client in Albany, NY to support a large-scale enterprise learning management environment. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong expertise in PeopleSoft infrastructure, administration, upgrades, and system support. The selected candidate will play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise PeopleSoft environments while contributing to modernization efforts and technical architecture initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and document PeopleSoft infrastructure architecture aligned with best practices for upgrades and system enhancements. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support PeopleSoft software components, including application servers, middleware, search technologies, and database systems. Perform administration, maintenance, and operational support for both new and existing PeopleSoft environments. Lead infrastructure planning and provide technical guidance to support business and system requirements. Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Support system upgrades, patching, code migrations, and environment refresh activities. Analyze, troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical and configuration issues across the platform. Assist with modernization initiatives while supporting legacy PeopleSoft environments. Develop technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience administering Oracle PeopleSoft HR/HCM 9.x or higher environments. Strong experience with PeopleTools 8.49+ , including installation, configuration, upgrades, tuning, and patching. Hands‑on experience performing PeopleSoft application and PeopleTools upgrades using PUM and Change Assistant . Extensive experience with Unix/Linux/Solaris environments , including installation, tuning, patching, upgrades, and code migration activities. Experience supporting middleware technologies such as WebLogic and Tuxedo , including troubleshooting, configuration, and high‑availability environments. Strong experience with Oracle Database administration in support of PeopleSoft environments. Expertise in enterprise infrastructure architecture, troubleshooting, and operational support. Proven ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise or public sector environments. Exposure to modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Strong documentation, communication, and knowledge‑sharing skills. Experience working in security, compliance‑driven environments.
