Description

• Perform evaluations across pediatric, adulthood, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational techniques.
• Create tailored treatment strategies that address both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Engage in individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to establish integrated care plans.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families, fostering progress beyond treatment sessions.
• Contribute to sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing continuity of care throughout the recovery process.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of onboarding.
