Providence Catholic High School (PCHS), a Joliet Diocesan, Catholic, coeducational, secondary school administered by the Augustinians is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Director of Enrollment for a full-time, permanent position beginning July 2026.

Building on over 100 years of tradition and academic excellence, PCHS, located in New Lenox, Illinois provides 700+ young men and women from southwest Chicagoland area with an excellent educational experience on a 75-acre campus.

The Director of Enrollment is a creative and highly organized leader responsible for implementation of an established enrollment management plan for PCHS which includes recruitment, admissions and retention programs. Responsibilities include oversight of student and leadership of an Assistant Director of Enrollment, creating a culture of enrollment, ideating and executing strategy to enroll and retain students while driving an environment of change to outpace current enrollment trends.


The Director of Enrollment is directly accountable to the Director of Institutional Advancement. The Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all student recruitment, admissions and retention initiatives. By creating and executing a comprehensive Enrollment Management Plan, the Director ensures the school meets its strategic enrollment goals, builds strong relationships with feeder communities, and successfully guides prospective families from initial engagement through enrollment and graduation.

Supervises: Assistant Director of Enrollment, Student/Parent Volunteers
Committee Membership: Enrollment Steering Committee, Advisory Committee for Student Enrollment, Financial Aid Committee, Freshman Scholarship, Hall of Fame Committee, and Celtic Time Committee

Starting Salary: $50,000 (Salary is commensurate with experience)

Primary Responsibilities

Faith Community & Mission Alignment
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives, recruitment/enrollment programs, and fundraising activities reflect and support the Catholic mission and values of the school.
Strategic Leadership & Fiscal Management
  • Enrollment Planning: Create, implement, and continuously evaluate a data-driven annual Enrollment Management Plan to achieve short and long-term student body goals.
  • Data Analysis & Forecasting: Research enrollment trends, project future class sizes, manage prospective student databases, and prepare periodic/annual enrollment reports for senior leadership.
  • Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the Director of Advancement to prepare, monitor, and evaluate the annual admissions budget to maximize return on recruitment investments.
  • Executive Collaboration: Regularly evaluate admissions results with the Director of Advancement and the President to adjust strategies and tactics as marketplace conditions evolve.
  • Personnel & Professional Growth: Oversee the Assistant Director of Enrollment and participate in an annual professional evaluation process with the Director of Advancement.
Community Outreach & Pipeline Development
  • Primary Brand Ambassador: Serve as the chief representative of the school, fostering a positive public image and maintaining active, collaborative relationships with feeder school principals, teachers, pastors, and religious education leaders.
  • School Visitations: Arrange and conduct annual recruitment visits to local private, parochial and public grade schools to establish strong institutional pipelines.
  • Scholarship Recognition: Coordinate the freshman scholarship program, order plaques, and arrange for executive leadership (President, Principal, Assistant Principal, Assistant Director of Enrollment, or self) to present awards at grade school assemblies and graduations.
Event Management & Admissions Operations
  • Signature Admissions Events: Oversee all aspects of major admissions milestones including, but not limited to Shadow Days, Open Houses, Parent Information Nights, Step-Up Days, the Incoming Freshman Party, and the Freshman Family Picnic managing everything from logistics and staffing to catering and transportation.
  • Campus Tours & Shadows: Coordinate and staff individual Shadow Day visits, ensuring an exceptional experience, and personally conduct tours for prospective families.
  • Junior High Engagement: Support on-campus youth events (athletic tournaments, Junior High Nights, youth clinics, Academic Bowl) to engage prospective students early.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage administration, staff, coaches, parents, and alumni to actively participate in recruitment, admissions, and retention activities.
Marketing & Communications
  • Collateral Production: Partner with the Director of Communications to design, write, and produce high-quality recruitment marketing materials, including brochures, posters, digital ads, and press releases.
  • Targeted Outreach: Manage digital communication campaigns to prospective families via Constant Contact and coordinate targeted social media outreach.
  • Athletic Alignment: Collaborate with coaches on youth sports marketing by proofing promotional mailers, managing email blasts, and providing targeted prospective student mailing lists.
Student Placement & Retention Strategies
  • Admissions & Registration: Partner with the Principal, Assistant Principal and Registrar to support the Freshman Placement Exam, student acceptance notifications, academic placement workflows and Freshman Information & Scheduling Night.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Proficiency in the PCHS Curriculum and Academic offerings.
  • Retention Programs: Develop and manage the Parent Ambassador program to strengthen current family engagement and community retention.
  • Feedback Loops: Conduct regular student and parent satisfaction surveys and personally conduct exit interviews for transferring students to gather actionable institutional insights.
General Advancement Support
  • Office Cohesion: Build team unity within the Advancement Office and support cross-functional projects (major fundraisers, career days, phonathons, and institutional mailings) as time permits.
  • Campus Visibility: Maintain and update the school's marquee weekly to keep the community informed of student/institutional successes and upcoming events.
  • Other Duties: Perform other relevant leadership tasks as assigned by the Director of Institutional Advancement.
