Benefits Coordinator

Responsibilities The Benefits Coordinator will track and maintain all leave of absences. This includes obtaining appropriate medical certifications, sending appropriate correspondence, and communicating with employees within the framework of FMLA, CFRA, and all other applicable regulations. The coordinator is also responsible for 401(k) plan administration, tracking benefit deductions in HRIS and making appropriate adjustments, reconciling and processing monthly benefit invoices, sending communications regarding benefit updates and changes, and answering all benefit‑related questions. Overview Department: Human Resources Shift: Onsite 7:30‑4p Facility: Saint Joseph Medical Center Location: Joliet, IL Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required or at least 3 years of experience in benefit administration. Previous experience coordinating employee benefits (health, dental, vision coverage, etc.) preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Microsoft Office skills required. Pay Transparency Saint Joseph Medical Center – Joliet offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, a 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many other voluntary options. Estimated wages range from $22.00 to $31.86 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection, taking into account skillset, experience, education, credentials, and eligibility.
