Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Genesis Counseling Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health needs.

• Providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each unique situation.

• Facilitating communication among family members to address conflicts, improve relationships, and promote healing.

• Specializing in areas including alcohol/substance abuse, grief and loss, separation and divorce, blended family dynamics, and communication difficulties.

• Documenting all client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborating with other health professionals and stakeholders as necessary to enhance holistic care for clients.

• Maintaining current knowledge of best practices in therapy and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
