What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process within OSHA and ANA standards in the OR setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop tailored care plans for surgical patients.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including doctors and anesthesia providers, to ensure seamless care.
• Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Delegate tasks effectively to licensed and ancillary team members.
• Document patient care activities accurately and completely.

What You Need:

• Required:
  
  
  • Current Louisiana RN License
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • 1+ years of surgical or perioperative nursing experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferred:
  
  
  • Previous leadership or supervision experience in OR setting
  • Additional certifications in perioperative nursing (e.g., CNOR)
