Work Environment

Our 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is a modern and collaborative environment that features advanced therapeutic equipment and ample space for individualized treatment sessions. You will be working alongside a cohesive team of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom share a common goal of delivering exceptional patient care. The collaborative atmosphere encourages sharing of ideas and approaches to continuously enhance treatment efficacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand and address patients' needs and establish tailored treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load that allows for one-on-one attention—typically one patient per hour—ensuring personalized care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to design and implement effective treatment plans aimed at optimizing mobility and function.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, management of conditions, and incorporating healthy lifestyle choices.
• Monitor and document progress meticulously, ensuring all care is recorded accurately for each patient.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to offer comprehensive care and address all aspects of patient health.
• Motivate and engage patients in their recovery journey, promoting perseverance and self-efficacy especially during challenging times.
• Continually assess and adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress, demonstrating flexibility in your approach.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuing education opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily includes individuals with private medical insurance, reflecting a diverse range of orthopedic conditions, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will engage with patients from various backgrounds, customizing treatment strategies that consider each individual's unique lifestyle and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California with no disciplinary actions against it.
• Demonstrated experience of at least two years in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong manual therapy skills and competency in devising effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically experience with WebPT or comparable systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in sports medicine or working with a diverse patient population is preferred.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
