Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Murray Counseling Services, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Lead counseling sessions with couples, families, and individuals, often exploring sensitive topics of family dynamics, communication issues, and relational conflicts.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions that address complex issues such as grief, adjustment to separation and divorce, communication difficulties, and blended family dynamics.

• Maintain confidential client records and ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, delivering support to clients navigating acute mental health challenges.

• Colloborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and resource availability for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, including couples, families, and individual adults and adolescents. The client focus encompasses a wide array of mental health challenges, such as:

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Flexible availability is also appreciated, with an expectation of at least 30 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits\n
