Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a contract role supporting student success as a Speech-Language Pathologist in vibrant, diverse K-12 settings. These positions offer rewarding in-person opportunities to make a difference in students’ communication skills in the Victorville or Needles areas. Each caseload is designed for focused impact, providing services with the support of a dedicated SLPA. For those assigned to Needles, travel to nearby Monument Peak may be required, with mileage reimbursed.

What You’ll Need:

• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state SLP license (California)
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Clear California Teaching Credential (CTC)
• At least one year of experience in a school setting (preferred)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to provide onsite, in-person services—virtual opportunities not available
• Reliable transportation for site visits and occasional travel (for the Needles region)

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver comprehensive SLP services to K-6 (Victorville) or K-12 (Needles) students
• Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, working alongside SLPAs
• Complete evaluations, develop IEPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support students in achieving IEP speech/language goals
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state standards
• Coordinate with school staff, families, and administration to foster student progress
• Travel to Monument Peak as needed (Needles role), with mileage reimbursement
