Our mission is to provide the protection that makes this possible, for every worker, everywhere.Job SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the pack/QA staging area in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders picked.HoursThe standard work hours for 1st shift are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. When overtime is necessary, the schedule will shift to 7:30am to 5:00pm. Additionally, some Saturdays may be required, with hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Additional overtime may be necessary.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesEfficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the style, size and quantity of product is accurate.Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.Carry or transport orders to shipping locations with material handling equipment.Meet company performance standards for productivity.On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment.Conduct physical inventories as required.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.Comply with OSHA Standards.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GEDWorking knowledge in MS Word, Excel or similar computer software systems.Ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations to sufficiently perform duties of the job.Qualifications RequiredAttendance at work and punctuality is essentialAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to communicate effectivelyThe ability to follow directions is extremely importantRequired frequently: sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time as well as, kneeling, squatting, bending and reachingAbility to read and interpret documentsMust be able to count accurately, do simple math, and write legiblyCompensationStarting at $18.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off accrual, and 401(k) matching after one year of employment.HexArmor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
