Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

The registered nurse in the Med Surg department works the night shift (1830–0700) providing safe, compassionate, and therapeutic patient care by utilizing the nursing process and organizational training. They demonstrate clinical competence, critical thinking, and knowledge of departmental policies to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Other Key Details Include Must be a new RN graduate or a licensed RN in good standing in Arkansas; BSN preferred. Applies basic skills to meet care standards and functions as a full partner within an interdisciplinary team. Not currently participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program. Healthcare CPR required; some units may require additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NALS, which are provided. Specialty units offer specific education as needed.
