Overview The registered nurse (RN) in the Med Surg department works the night shift from 1830 to 0700, providing safe, compassionate, and therapeutic patient care by applying the nursing process and organizational policies. The RN demonstrates clinical competence, critical thinking, and collaborates effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and an exceptional experience. Qualifications Qualifications include being a new graduate or a licensed RN in Arkansas, with a preference for a BSN. The nurse applies foundational skills, adheres to standards of care, and participates as a full team member. Basic healthcare CPR is required; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NALS may be needed for certain areas, with training provided. Specialty units offer specific education as needed.
