A Brief Overview The Facility Associates role is responsible for providing onsite facility services and day‑to‑day maintenance for external grounds and internal facilities infrastructure at the Villa Marie Claire. This role functions as support to all facility staff and needs to ensure the environment is maintained with the highest quality standards. What you will do Maintain the grounds and gardens surrounding the Villa Marie Claire as directed Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin‑axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, etc. Maintain facility equipment such as beds, furniture, kitchen equipment, sterilizers, nurse call system, HVAC systems, domestic water, sanitary and utility distribution systems. Assist electrician, plumber, carpenter and HVAC mechanics as needed. Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools. Assist in snow removal as needed. Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage. Oversee plant maintenance and assist with planting seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the facility. Recommend projects, painting, improvements or repairs to improve appearance and efficiency. Make recommendations concerning facility improvements and necessary repairs to improve overall operations and patient and visitor experience. Install and maintain all aspects of grounds and facility infrastructure. Perform visual inspection rounds covering each assigned area to observe staff at work and ensure correct procedures are adhered to and safety rules are observed. Understand and be able to execute role in fire and disaster drills and situations. Perform preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment as directed in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support various team functions. Education Qualifications High School Diploma, High School Graduate or equivalent experience Preferred. Experience Qualifications 2 years of experience in grounds or maintenance, grounds Preferred. If you are hired at Holy Name, your final base compensation will be determined based on factors such as employment status (Full/Part‑Time or Per Diem) skills, education, and/or experience.
