Physical Therapist assistant

Always Best Care is looking to add a part-time physical therapist assistant, with an opportunity to a full-time position, to our Home Health team. We are seeking a candidate to add to our energetic team, and who will provide quality patient care and contribute to the overall well-being of individuals in need of physical therapy services. We offer and will negotiate competitive pay. The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses, regain movement and manage pain. PTA's assist in implementing treatment plans, perform therapeutic exercises, and educate patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation. They work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, clinics, and private practices. Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Guide patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Apply modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques..

• Minimum of two (2) year experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills interpersonal skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state/Agency requirements. Good driving record and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
