Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Physical Therapist Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and conditions.
• Providing direct patient care through hands-on therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment protocols as guided by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educating patients on proper exercise methodologies and recovery techniques to empower them in their rehabilitation.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver cohesive, patient-centered care, maximizing the effectiveness of treatment strategies.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records to ensure continuous quality of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient demographic, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries. Your role will be vital in helping these patients regain strength, mobility, and independence, providing not only physical support but also emotional encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Physical Therapist Assistant role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related field.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant state license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic setting, demonstrating expertise in related rehabilitation practices.
• Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to the field.
• A professional demeanor with the ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients.

Preferred Experience
