Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Responsible for delivering compassionate patient care while adhering to clinical protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments based on physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state certification.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a medical-surgical unit.
• BLS and NIH Certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
