Associate Application Analyst – Workforce Management Systems The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Time and Attendance, Employee Debit, and HR/Payroll Systems. The analyst will monitor the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues assigned by the UHS Customer Support Center, implement modifications to existing applications, provide technical support to UHS entities, meet deadlines, and share experience with the team. Key Responsibilities System Implementation Regularly participate in meetings with users, vendors, and IS staff to develop/modify system specifications. Support implementations of applications and assist in preparation of documentation. Perform system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle under the guidance of senior team members. Perform Q/A on application functionality under the guidance of senior team members. Research and resolve implementation‑related Customer Support Center tickets. Adhere to appropriate UHS Project Management standards. Ensure strict adherence to work plans, reporting serious deviations to management. Assist with training of users in operating procedures for applications. Work with users daily on file building, training and system configuration. Be a self‑starter who looks for solutions when dealing with multi‑state payroll laws and rules. Assist in training, documentation, conversions and implementation of the Kronos ISeries product. System Maintenance & Support Research and resolve Customer Support Center tickets under guidance of senior team members. Participate in major application upgrades. Adhere to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies. Provide on‑call support as scheduled. Establish and maintain regular communications with user community. Administration Oversight Maintain Service Excellence principles. Prepare and submit status reports to supervisor as required. Keep management well informed of activities, needs, problems. Perform other tasks as required by management. Qualifications Position Requirements Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. One or more years of progressively more responsible Information Systems experience preferred. Basic knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices. Working knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, coding, debugging, or modification of computer systems or programs based on and related to user design specifications. Basic knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics. Basic knowledge of project management methods. General familiarity of user business practices, concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Travel Requirements: 5-25% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
