Health Technician

Job Duties
Help
Take and record blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, height and weight.
Perform receptionist duties and record keeping tasks associated with patient care.
Provide individualized care to patients of all ages based upon the physician's medical care plan.
Enter all specimen and patient demographics data into computer.
Receive patients and visitors to the laboratory both in person and on the telephone.
Provide guidance to providers, nurses, and attendants on specimen collection requirements.
Ensure all supplies needed are stocked and ready for use in the phlebotomy room.
Follow universal precautions, and infection control guidelines.
