Job Description

Aerotek is now hiring for a 1st shift general laborer in Deer Creek, IL.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood trusses using hammers and nail guns.
• Follow laser-guided patterns to ensure correct placement of wood pieces and brackets.
• Operate a press to complete trusses.
• Load and unload materials.
• Use tape measure.
• Lift up large boards regularly.
• Move on and off waist-high tables frequently.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction, roofing, or farming is advantageous.
• Manual labor experience within the last 12 months is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DEER CREEK, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
