At Home Team Insurance powered by Allstate, we’re adding to our high-performance sales team and looking for competitive, coachable people who want a real career opportunity.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll connect with prospective customers through outbound calls, internet leads, past quotes, win-backs and referrals to create opportunities for our licensed producers.

The SDR role is designed as a path to becoming a licensed insurance producer. Prove yourself through consistency, work ethic and coachability, and Home Team will help you pursue your license and advance into a producer role.

Successful licensed producers have the opportunity to build toward $100,000+ annual income. Six figures are not guaranteed—it is earned through performance.

You do not need insurance experience. We care much more about your drive, work ethic, competitiveness, communication skills and willingness to be coached.

Former athletes, recent college graduates, hospitality professionals, retail salespeople and anyone who thrives in a competitive, goal-oriented environment may be an excellent fit.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage potential customers through outbound calls, internet leads, referrals, past quotes and win-back opportunities.
• Start meaningful conversations and connect qualified prospects with our licensed producers.
• Consistently follow up with leads through phone, text and email.
• Meet daily activity expectations for calls, conversations, appointments and transfers.
• Maintain accurate notes and lead status in our CRM and sales systems.
• Participate in daily coaching, role-play and team accountability.
• Be a valued member of the Home Team, where your ideas, perspective and input are genuinely encouraged and can help shape how we grow and improve.
• Progress toward becoming a licensed insurance producer. The SDR role is designed to last approximately 1–3 months. Team members who meet clearly defined performance, activity, reliability and coaching milestones will have the opportunity to advance into licensing and a Producer role with significantly greater earning potential.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior sales experience
• A true hunter mentality — comfortable creating opportunities instead of waiting for them
• Strong communication skills and confidence talking with new people
• Competitive, resilient and highly coachable
• Comfortable with high outbound activity and measurable sales goals
• Dependable, accountable and willing to be held to clear performance standards
• Door-to-door or other high-activity sales experience is a strong plus
• A personal/professional network of 75+ people is a plus
• Former athletes or candidates with a background in competitive environments are strongly encouraged to apply

This role is not a fit for someone who prefers customer service, inbound-only sales or waiting for opportunities to be assigned. We are looking for someone who creates opportunities.
