Title: Planner Pay Rate: $40.00/hr Hours: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Location: 5900 Eastport Blvd, Richmond, VA 23231, United States Duration: 6-12 months Must Haves There should be experience in material planning / production planning / supply chain management/Inventory management SAP experience is mandatory Analytical skills like advance excel / Power BI Material Planner Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders, ensuring material availability as per manufacturing plan. You Will Be Mainly Accountable To Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation. Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs. Analyze potential shortage; assign valid notifications to Purchasing team; troubleshoot inconsequential warnings and adjust SAP parametrization when applicable. Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility. Qualifications For The Role Bachelor degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field PLUS minimum 5 years of experience in material planning/purchasing/ supply chain Must have experience in SAP MM/PP Proficiency in Microsoft Power Query, Power BI and data analysis, preferred Experience in Inventory Management & Control Microsoft Office Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. #J-18808-Ljbffr
