Job Description

Richmond is seeking a highly organized and proactive Maintenance Planner to develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance planning program. This role will be instrumental in building a preventive maintenance (PM) program from the ground up, organizing and optimizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and managing the procurement, inventory, and stocking of maintenance spare parts. The ideal candidate will have strong planning and organizational skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work closely with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams. Maintenance experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications Required

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, inventory management, or related roles.
• Experience working with CMMS platforms (such as MP2, eMaint, Fiix, Maintenance Connection, Maximo, SAP PM, or similar).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Hands-on maintenance, reliability, or technical maintenance experience.
• Experience developing PM programs from the ground up.
• Experience managing maintenance storerooms and spare parts inventories.
• Knowledge of procurement and vendor management practices.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), or Predictive Maintenance methodologies.
• APICS, CMRP, or other maintenance/reliability certifications are a plus.
