Pay or shift range: $120,000 USD to $130,000 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Key Responsibilities Own key balance sheet accounts, such as accruals, for monthly, quarterly, and annual close Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by accounting staff. Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for key accruals and other accounts Manage key payment streams for healthcare providers, healthcare members and vendors Lead balance sheet reconciliation processes and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items for staff and owned accounts Manage intercompany accounting activities and ensure accurate elimination and reconciliation of balances. Establish, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff; review work product and provide coaching and performance feedback. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, HIPAA requirements, and applicable federal, state, local, and Puerto Rico regulations. Monitor ERP system integrity and support process automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Support strategic projects, system implementations, and other finance initiatives as assigned. Qualifications: BS/BA in Accounting required; CPA preferred. Minimum 5–8 years of experience, including work in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments. Knowledge of ERP and other accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) High level of integrity, positive can-do attitude, and strong work ethic. Demonstrated ownership of the month-end close process, including full-cycle accounting responsibilities. Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (advanced-level Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, sumifs). Healthcare company experience preferred Ability to multitask and manipulate large amounts of data. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent problem identification and resolution skills, with a focus on addressing root causes. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
