Welcome to Bosch. The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte, NC. This facility employs 400+ full‑time associates in a 5‑shift operation, which encompasses 235,000 sq ft. along with 12,000 SKU's. In addition to the conversion, customizing and packaging activities, abrasives are now a big part of our power tool accessory business. ISO certified, our associates engage in BPS, CIP and 5S. By choice we are committed to a diverse workforce – EOE / Protected Veteran / Disabled Job Description Work in a team environment to aid the production process by managing various stations of the Belt & Pack machine. Cut to Length Skiving Unit Responsibility for the machine set up related to the Belt Conversion value stream, including quality, BPS/6S, and TPM. Overall belt joint quality based on defined standards/conversion sheet specs. Setup and adjust machine aggregates based on product type specifics (skiving depth, grinding depth, glue application, tape placement, packaging aesthetics). Hourly reporting of machine outputs and downtimes. Make suggestions and recommendations for improvements. Complete set up of Belt & Pack Packaging and Belt‑Joining Lines. Multi‑task (pre and post processing). Make adjustments at various stages of the production process to meet quality expectations. Maintain general knowledge of all machines throughout the conversion area and complete required training measures (PQ&T). Maintain appropriate BPS and 6S standards. Work on different stations of the machine as required. Load machine as needed. Change slitter blades and sleeves. Operate pin lift and pallet lift. Set up, start, and operate machines successfully. Make adjustments to stations as needed. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs according to the escalation plan. Read and follow standard operating procedures for the machine. Follow the appropriate quality standards and measures for the machine. Understand and follow procedures for machine cleanliness and tool organization. Maintain knowledge of all safety procedures associated with the machine. Replenish materials as needed (tape, die‑cut folders, glue, slit rolls, ant‑theft sensor tags). Place packaged belts into cartons and load raw materials into the machine. Load and unload pallets. Operate all components of the machine successfully. Make necessary adjustments to run the machine efficiently. Detect and determine appropriate quality standards and measures for each stage of the process. Operate feeding system by clamp beam, manage idle conveyor, and use motorized clamp beams placed before and after the cutting head. Set material width using touch screen parameters to minimize waste. Save and recall machine setup data for each combination (shape size, master web width, material type, etc.) using the recipe menu. Qualifications Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly. Ability to multitask and stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day with excellent hand use. Ability to read and follow instructions. Ability to lift up to 40 lb. boxes. High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school required. Preferred experience in machine operations. Additional Information Operate lift equipment. Unloading and reloading pallets.
