Electrician

We are seeking a skilled electrician with expertise in electrical conduit installation, including the use of table benders and conduit risers. The ideal candidate will have experience with NEC Code, grounding, bonding, and service work. Your role will involve electrical layout, troubleshooting, and pulling feeder cables for service. You will work on service upgrades, conduit racking systems, risers, and 1200amp service. Additionally, you will handle conduit, EMT bending, fitting, and installing service boxes, along with apartment rough-ins and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical conduits using table benders and work with conduit risers.
• Adhere to NEC Code while performing service work, grounding, and bonding.
• Layout electrical systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Pull feeder cables for service upgrades and work with 4-inch conduit.
• Install and manage conduit racking systems and risers for 1200amp service.
• Conduct apartment rough-ins, conduit runs, and electrical service work.
• Design and implement power distribution systems.

• Extensive experience in electrical troubleshooting and pipe bending.
• Proficiency in NEC Code and service work.
• Strong skills in electrical layout and pulling feeder cables.
• Experience with conduit racking systems and service upgrades.
• Ability to work with conduit, EMT, and install service boxes.

• SST 10-hour certification.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Lift certification.
• 8+ years of commercial electrical experience.

Work Environment

Projects are based in NYC, with start times at 7:00 am. Employees must have PPE, tools, SST, and OSHA 30 certifications on hand. Evaluation focuses on technical ability, attitude, and task completion speed. Some projects require drug testing. Work locations include 219 East 42nd Street and 451 10th Ave, with varying team compositions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
