About Company:

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is a professional consulting firm specializing in construction inspection and compliance services for public infrastructure projects. Our core services include on-site inspection of roadway, bridge, and utility construction to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements. We support clients with daily reporting, materials testing coordination, schedule tracking, and quality assurance oversight. Additional services include project management, grants management for federally funded infrastructure and disaster recovery programs.

About the Role:

The NYC Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our company within the competitive New York City market and across the United States. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships that align with our company’s goals. The successful candidate will lead market research initiatives to understand industry trends and customer needs, enabling the creation of tailored solutions that enhance our market presence. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the Business Development Manager will ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and contribute to the overall revenue growth. Ultimately, this role is essential for establishing our brand as a market leader and achieving sustainable business success in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the New York City market and business landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within the United States market, particularly in New York City.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Background in a specific industry relevant to the company’s focus (e.g., technology, finance, healthcare).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to create and implement effective business development strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
  • Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that maximize company profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Report regularly on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

The required skills such as communication and negotiation are essential for engaging with clients and closing deals effectively on a daily basis. Market research and analytical skills enable the manager to identify trends and opportunities that inform strategic planning and decision-making. Proficiency in CRM and sales tools helps in managing client relationships and tracking progress efficiently. Preferred skills like leadership and project management facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of business initiatives.
