STEP Field Sales Rep - Surgical (Chicago)

Medtronic seeks a field sales representative for a rotational development program in the Chicago surgical territory. This 18-month role combines hands-on operating room support, product training across multiple surgical portfolios, and exposure to sales and clinical leadership within the Medical Surgical Operating Unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide product support and assist clinical procedures in operating room settings
- Build clinical and technical expertise across Core Surgical, Gynecology, and Hernia portfolios
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and customer accounts
- Support sales activities, territory planning, and strategic product conversion initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and analyze territory data to identify improvement opportunities
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 4+ years relevant experience, or associate degree plus 2+ years, or bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% within territory
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire
- Ability to relocate within the United States
- Clinical or technical knowledge to support complex surgical environments
