Shipping And Receiving Coordinator

Position Summary

Seeking a reliable and safety-minded Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and handling shipping and receiving activities. This role is responsible for inventory movement, order fulfillment, material handling, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.


Essential Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying shipment accuracy.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting, labeling, and documenting incoming and outgoing materials.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Verify quantities and product condition against packing slips and shipping documents.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Support other warehouse and logistics functions as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Shipping and receiving experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and shipments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Palmetto, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
