Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, creating personalized treatment plans that address specific emotional and relational issues.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and family systems therapy, ensuring that interventions are tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate various therapy sessions, including individual, couples, and group settings, fostering healthy dialogue and helping clients overcome communication barriers.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for your clients.

• Adeptly maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards, ensuring that client information is always safeguarded.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through supervision and educational opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on best practices.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support during challenging situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and family dynamics. As an LMFT at Focal Mind, you will play a vital role in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges, promoting resilience and emotional well-being within a variety of family structures and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Oregon is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline is essential.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of direct clinical experience is preferred; however, new graduates with supervised hours may be considered.

• Proficiency in trauma-informed care, as well as experience with cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies, is a plus.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor, are critical for success in this role.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous, enhancing your ability to manage client information efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, in addition to a robust benefits package. Among the benefits offered are:
