Under the direction of the Supervisor II/Bureau Chief, the Supervisor I plans, organizes, and directs the work of analytical and administrative staff who are responsible for workload associated with background check applications for individuals associated to Community Care Licensing Division(CCLD) licensed facilities and established registries.


Applicants with knowledge of CCLD licensing laws, regulations and procedures, background check case management system, Licensing Information System (LIS), and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common software programs are highly desirable and will be given priority consideration. Working Conditions
The Care Provider Management Branch exercises a hybrid work schedule as determined by the Department of Social Services. The CPMB is in Rancho Cordova with free parking on-site. Many restaurants including Starbucks, Sandwich Spot and Subway are located within one mile of the office.

This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order N-22-25 and at the sole discretion of the Department of Social Services under California Government Code Section 14200. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be re-evaluated at any time. The incumbent will be expected to report for in office work and attend work related in-person events as deemed operationally necessary. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the CDSS policies. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
