About the Job ENLISTMENT REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION Overview: Human Resource Specialists (MOS 42A) perform personnel and administrative functions supporting all military members. They ensure the readiness, health, and welfare of soldiers. Qualifications and Training:
- Minimum ASVAB scores: 100 GT and 90 CL.
- Must qualify for Secret security clearance.
- Complete 10 weeks Basic Combat Training and 9 weeks Advanced Individual Training with classroom and hands-on instruction.
- Opportunities for advanced training depending on assignment.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- English and business administration aptitude.
- U.S. citizen or I-551 cardholder.
- Age 17-34.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass background check, drug screen, and have no felony convictions.
- Good health with no physical limitations.
- Includes housing, medical, food, special pay, and vacation time.
- Up to $40,000 enlistment bonuses for select Military Occupational Specialties.
