About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Business Development Officer to lead its managed care and business development functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing payer strategy, reimbursement performance, and fostering employer and business relationships. This role involves providing direct leadership to a team, overseeing market development opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives that support the organization's growth and financial performance. The Chief Business Development Officer will also be a senior resource for managed care performance, payer relationships, and business development opportunities, and will work closely with executive, clinical, financial, and operational leaders to support organizational priorities. Candidates for the Chief Business Development Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' experience in healthcare business development, managed care, or a related area. Strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to negotiate and manage complex business arrangements are essential. The role requires a deep understanding of healthcare finance, market dynamics, and the ability to translate this information into executive-level recommendations. The Chief Business Development Officer will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders and representing the organization in various business settings.
