Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable SpecialistFlynt Management Group LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our corporate finance team.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReceive, sort, and file incoming invoicesPrioritize invoices by the service provided and due date while monitoring AP paper flow to ensure process is efficient and effectiveCoordinate with Store Managers and Inventory Control Managers regarding un-approved invoicesReconcile vendor accounts as necessaryAdhere to A/P terms, regulations, and processing instructions to ensure timely entry and payment on invoices for Partnership stores and LFP MerchandisingRespond immediately to vendor issues and other incoming inquiries as they relate to Accounts PayableInspect invoices for proper signature requirements and input all invoices into Great Plains softwareGenerate weekly A/P aging report and perform check run for assigned accountsFile all paid invoices for vendorsAssist Controller, Staff Accountant, and A/P Specialist with additional tasks as neededOther duties as assignedReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.QualificationsBA in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)Previous experience with Accounts Payable in either a working or education environmentKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesKnowledge of relevant computer applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Acumatica/NetSuite (preferred)Proficient in data entry and managementWork EnvironmentProfessional office environment While our offices are a strictly professional environment, due to the nature of our business involving adult content, certain roles may be exposed to adult content while performing their job functions.Job requires ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of timeJob requires ability to lift and carry items up to 20lbsThis job description is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.
