You'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, driving satisfaction by resolving inquiries, supporting route logistics, and ensuring seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities Customer First: Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and web requests with enthusiasm and professionalism. Problem Solver: Receive, research, and resolve customer questions, account updates, and service inquiries within established guidelines. Team Communicator: Coordinate directly with drivers, route supervisors, and sales teams to resolve missed stops, schedule special pick-ups, and keep daily operations running smoothly. Account & Data Management: Set up new residential and commercial accounts, process customer payments, run credit checks, and update account details accurately in our billing system (Tower). Work Order Processing: Generate call-in work orders for drivers, manage daily call-in logs, and ensure timely documentation of all customer interactions. Quality Assurance: Assist with contract management, scanning agreement files, and ensuring full compliance with local, federal, and internal company policies. Office Support: Keep the customer service area welcoming and orderly, greeting visitors and occasionally backing up office administrative tasks. What You Bring to the Team Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: 12 years of customer service or call center experience. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for positive, clear interaction over the phone and via email. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable learning specialized database software (Tower). Adaptability: Ability to stay calm under pressure, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting. Attention to Detail: Solid organizational, data entry, and record-keeping skills. Work Environment & Demands Setting: Indoor office environment (~95% of time) with a moderate noise level. Physical Requirements: Standard office environment tasks, including sitting, standing, using standard computer software, and communicating over telephone headsets.
