Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity assisting elementary students in a vibrant educational setting. This contract position spans the entire academic year, offering the chance to contribute directly to student success from August 13, 2026, through June 9, 2027. Work onsite from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing hands-on support for a dedicated elementary caseload.

Essential Qualifications:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting required
• Strong communication skills, collaboration abilities, and passion for student development
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learners and manage a varied caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services for elementary students as outlined in IEPs
• Support teachers and staff in implementing accommodations and modifications
• Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate results to the educational team
• Contribute to IEP meetings and help design appropriate interventions for student needs
• Collaborate with classroom staff to facilitate inclusive participation and foster a positive, growth-oriented environment
