Digital Marketing Assistant

Montessori Reggio Academy is hiring a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing department. In this role, you will assist the Head of Marketing with the planning, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns, social media content, promotional materials, digital advertising support, school photography and videography, reels, event coverage, and brand-focused content. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, dependable, and able to balance fresh ideas with attention to detail. This person should be comfortable working with a team, taking direction, meeting deadlines, and helping bring MRA’s brand, programs, events, and school community to life through high-quality digital content. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of maintaining a professional, polished, and on-brand image while creating content that is engaging, positive, and aligned with the standards of a private school environment. Responsibilities: • Maintain our social media platforms including messages to our audience • Monitor and maintain content across all platforms including website, mailing lists, SEO, and analytics to keep content current • Play a key role on the marketing team in advising on and contributing to digital, advertising, and marketing strategies • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to plan and execute engaging marketing campaigns that resonate with our school community. • Create and manage captivating social media content that reflects our brand's values and connects with our audience. • Assist in the development of promotional materials that highlight our programs and events, ensuring they are polished and professional. • Support digital advertising efforts by coordinating with team members to optimize reach and effectiveness. • Capture the essence of our school through photography and videography, bringing our events and community to life visually. • Produce dynamic reels and videos that showcase our school's unique offerings and foster engagement. • Provide event coverage, ensuring that all aspects are documented and shared with our community in a timely manner. Qualifications: • 4-year degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related field required • Must possess excellent project management skills, communication skills, and a strong work ethic • 2 or more years of experience in an ad agency environment or related environment • Strong understanding of web and email systems, public relations, brand messaging, and social platforms • Advanced knowledge of current market trends Compensation: $13 - $16 hourly
