Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is an onsite role located in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Carteret. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories and performing specific assessments to formulate effective treatment recommendations.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans to patients and their families, encouraging their involvement in goal-setting.
• Implement treatment protocols with expertise, adapting to the patient's unique presentation and continuously evolving healthcare practices.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive care, documenting any changes in patients' conditions that may require adjusted plans.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, meticulously documenting patient care activities, including initial evaluations, progress summaries, and discharge notes to ensure continuity of care.
• Exhibit time management skills by meeting daily productivity expectations, maintaining a punctual schedule for patient sessions and team meetings.
• Contribute to departmental goals, comply with all relevant regulations, and promote a culture of safety and integrity within the clinic.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities, enhancing your professional competency and serving as a mentor to students pursuing careers in physical therapy.
• Actively participate in community outreach efforts to promote services and enhance patient access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patient populations requiring rehabilitation services for various conditions, such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license for the state of New Jersey is necessary for practice.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience

• Although a minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, we are also open to candidates who demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and a passion for patient care, regardless of prior experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
