Coordinates, prepares, and serves palatable and appetizing meals in a timely basis and in accordance with sanitary regulations. Reviews menus and production sheets to ensure food is available for meals and snacks. Assists the Food Prep Coordinators as needed. Ensures scheduled cleaning duties are complete. Ensures the equipment and utensils are in a safe, clean and sanitary condition. Ability to plan, coordinate, assign and if needed, and supervise staff to lead them to be successful. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serving Kentucky’sVeterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care. Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: NONE EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of cooking experience in an institutional or large scale commercial setting. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Vocational training in food services will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
