Location: MerRouge, LA Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour Part-Time: Wednesday-Friday | Day Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Human Resource Generalist Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required; SHRM certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of recent HR experience in a generalist or similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, including onboarding, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong professionalism and discretion.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and accuracy.
• Ability to perform physical requirements including walking, standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Human Resource Generalist Job Duties:

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, and employee support activities.
• Administer HRIS and payroll systems, including data entry, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
• Coordinate employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries.
• Maintain confidential HR files and records and ensure compliance with data retention policies.
• Support compliance, risk management, and employee performance processes.
• Serve as backup support for payroll processing.
• Act as a first point of contact for general HR and office-related support needs.
