Clinical Technician 1 - Stroke Unit

Clinical Technician 1 Inova Fairfax Hospital – Stroke Unit is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. Role: Full‑time, Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Days Vary, Rotating weekends & holidays. Job Responsibilities Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse. Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. Must be available for six non‑consecutive weeks of paid training, comprising: virtual orientations (two from 8 AM‑4:30 PM), classroom‑style sessions 8 AM‑4:30 PM (six shifts total), virtual training modules, and on‑unit shifts. May perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire. Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
