Information Technology Program Manager

Business Technology Manager - MUST be bilingual in Spanish Compensation: $125K + 10% target bonus Reports to: CEO Spanish fluency required (the software development team is based in Mexico) We're looking for a business-minded technology leader who can own the connection between operations, software development team, and outside IT vendors, someone who translates business needs into technology action rather than just keeping systems running. You’ll be directing an MSP, a development team, and internal technicians, and holding all three accountable for delivery. What You’ll Own Bridging business and technology. You’ll be the primary liaison between the leadership team, the software development team, and the technology vendors, translating business needs into clear software, ERP, and technology requirements and prioritizing development efforts accordingly. You’ll meet regularly with department leaders across compliance, operations, finance, and sales to identify pain points and recommend technology-driven solutions. Owning the technology roadmap. You’ll continuously identify opportunities to improve business operations through technology, lead projects from planning through implementation (infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, automation, AI adoption, ERP enhancements), and develop the annual IT budget in a way that ties technology investment to business value. Holding vendors accountable. You’ll manage our relationship with outside MSP and other technology vendors, holding them to performance, service-level, and project-delivery expectations, while overseeing both our on-premises and cloud environments. Protecting the business. You’ll work closely with the Compliance Officer on cybersecurity, ISO 27001, and other compliance initiatives, maintaining strong identity and access management, backup, and disaster recovery practices, and developing the documentation and standards that keep us audit-ready. Supporting the team. You’ll ensure employees get timely, effective technical support, oversee hardware lifecycle, licensing, and provisioning, and report on technology performance and risk to executive leadership. What Makes Someone Successful Here You think like a business leader first and a technologist second: you understand that technology should drive growth, not just keep the lights on You’re a strategic thinker who’s equally comfortable with long-term planning and day-to-day execution You can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and hold your own in a room with executive leadership You’re naturally curious, proactive, and collaborative, someone who can influence outcomes without needing direct authority You take ownership: when something breaks, you know how to identify the problem, pull in the right resources, and see it through to resolution What You’ll Bring A working understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud environments, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and backup/disaster recovery, enough to have credible, informed conversations with your MSP and hold them accountable, not necessarily hands‑on expertise Experience managing or working closely with a software development team, and the ability to translate business needs into development priorities Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading technology initiatives from planning through implementation Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 (or similar) Experience evaluating, selecting, and managing technology vendors and platforms Fluent Spanish, required, as our software development team is based in Mexico We’re open to candidates who are somewhat more junior if they bring the right skill set and overall fit A Bit About the Team You’ll Work With You’ll partner with a seven-person software development team based in Mexico (front‑end, back‑end, full‑stack, and UX/UI, with a team lead), a small, long‑tenured outside MSP, and roughly ten onsite technicians who handle equipment testing, repair, and processing (a couple of whom also provide hybrid desktop support). You won’t manage the onsite technicians directly, but you’ll be able to draw on them for support when needed.
