Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) | Burlington, Vermont | Start 06/18/2026 | 6 weeks | $2,915-$3,066 per week | Guaranteed hours: none | Shift: 4x10 Rotating | Travel assignment in a hospital setting Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and scrub nurse support for General OR cases, including ortho, uro, oncology, Da Vinci robotics, gen surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, cardiovascular, and trauma procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, assist with patient positioning and draping, and manage instrument counts and setup for each case
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and other OR staff to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow; anticipate needs and manage equipment and supplies
• Assist with intraoperative documentation in the EMR (EPIC) and contribute to accurate perioperative records; monitor patient status and respond to changes as needed
• Adapt to a rotating schedule (day/evening) with weekend and call requirements per unit policy
• Demonstrate the ability to perform both circulating and scrub roles and maintain compliance with sterile technique and safety standards

Requirements

• Active RN license; license on file at time of submission
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience, with strong exposure to general OR specialties and large trauma Level 1 experience
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Ability to perform both circulating and scrub duties and work in a fast-paced perioperative environment
