Payroll Manager Location: Long Island City, Queens, NY Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the company’s payroll operations for approximately 700 employees, including a large union workforce. This position will manage a team of three and be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and proper administration of union payroll requirements. Qualifications: 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, with payroll management or supervisory experience. Significant experience with union payroll required. Construction industry payroll experience strongly preferred. Experience managing and developing payroll staff. Strong understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, wage and hour regulations, and payroll compliance. Experience with Sage 300 or CMiC preferred but not required. Strong Excel skills and experience with payroll reporting and reconciliations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage confidential information and meet strict payroll deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
