Job Overview

Job Opportunity – Interventional Cardiology MD – Pennsylvania

Start Date: Immediate
Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, up to 40 hours per week once every other month, plus vacation coverage as needed

Highlights:

• Interventional cardiology practice in a 270-bed academic hospital setting
• Approximately 18 patients per day with adult population (ages 18-100)
• Dedicated support team including assigned clinical team for outpatient care, APP for inpatient care, and full cath lab staff
• EPIC EMR system in place
• Full scope of interventional procedures including R/LHC, PCI, Balloon Angioplasty, Balloon Pump, and IVUS
• Ongoing contract with flexible scheduling every other month

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology required
• Active state medical license and DEA certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe is 90 days; temporary privileges available for providers with clean files
• Must have clean malpractice history (no settlements over $500K and no more than 3 total settlements)
