About Us
Pizza Bear is a new counter-service sourdough pizza shop in Coral Gables. We make naturally leavened dough in-house every day and top it with simple, high-quality ingredients. We're a small team that cares about doing things right, and we're looking for people who want to learn the craft and grow with us from day one. Follow along at @pza.bear.

What You'll Do

• Stretch, top, and bake pizzas to spec during service, keeping quality consistent at every volume
• Help with daily dough production: mixing, portioning, balling, and managing fermentation
• Prep sauces, toppings, and salads using our recipes and prep lists
• Run the oven: manage heat, timing, and rotation
• Keep your station clean, organized, and up to food safety standards
• Work closely with the counter team so orders go out hot and accurate

What We're Looking For

• Kitchen or pizza experience preferred, but we'll train the right person
• Interest in sourdough, fermentation, or bread is a big plus
• Comfortable working fast in a busy environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a good teammate
• Takes feedback well and pays attention to detail
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
• Available nights and weekends
• Food Handler certification (or willing to get it)
