Human Resources Internship

Position Summary The Human Resources Intern will provide administrative and coordination support to the HR team across a range of people-related activities and processes. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about developing a career in Human Resources. The successful candidate will be willing to learn, able to pick up new information and processes quickly, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced HR function. The HR Intern will gain exposure to a broad range of Human Resources activities while providing valuable day-to-day administrative support to the wider team. Essential Skills and Attributes Currently studying, or recently completed, a qualification in Human Resources, or relevant field is desirable. Previous administrative or customer service experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. A proactive and positive approach to work. A willingness to learn and the ability to pick up new processes and information quickly. A genuine interest in Human Resources and a passion for working with and supporting people. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team across a range of day-to-day activities. Assist with maintaining and filing HR documentation, trackers and databases. Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates. Assist with coordinating onboarding and offboarding tasks. Support the HR team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required. Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and a high level of attention to detail.
