Job Title

Pride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client's healthcare facility in Boston, MA 02116.

Float / Coverage Area: Job Type: W2 Contract

Contract Length: 3 months with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $25.80/hour (without benefits) *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support patients and healthcare providers by coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with Epic EMR in a medical setting and a strong healthcare/customer service background.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, manage provider calendars, and coordinate follow-up visits.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Greet patients and visitors and provide a welcoming, professional experience.
• Answer patient questions and provide basic information regarding care plans and services.
• Update and maintain accurate patient information and records in Epic EMR.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and other healthcare team members.
• Assist with referrals, follow-ups, and other patient care coordination activities.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow applicable healthcare privacy requirements.
• Perform other administrative and patient support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience using Epic EMR.
• 1+ year of experience working in a medical/healthcare setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple appointments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
